I have had mine since 2009 and use it all the time. There are lots of great uses for this software. I also discovered the software will print off paper piecing patterns for you. One of my favorite features was the Patch draw. I also use it to record any ideas I want to remember or to explore in more detail later on. I create a quilt block and then turn the blocks to get new looks. I LOVE my EQ and I can get lost in it for hours on end. But my lessons will get you through quite a bit of EQ7. There are alot of the more advanced lessons that I haven't done myself yet. Maybe some day I'll do the rest of those. I will tell you tho I didn't go all the way through all the bells and whistles on EQ7. Quilts, Blocks and now PHOTOS Includes all the design features of EQ5 & EQ6 plus all new design tools.

The lessons show how to use EQ5 but as EQ6 and EQ7 use some of the same steps I only show screenshots of 6 and or 7 when there are differences in how they work. For a certain type of project the Accuquilt GO has been a pleasant surprise to me. Got an accuquilt GO last month to make fast quilts for Project Linus and have made an apple core quilt in a week. I use EQ5 mostly but I have all 3 versions. Tutorials - Electric Quilt 7 - Building a Basic Quilt Tutorial - I hope to get EQ7 next month. The pdfs use screenshots to walk you through the steps. I did 84 quilt blocks for the first quilt along and 64 for the second one. I also use it all the time to design all of my quilt blocks. I wrote 4 ebooks using this software for all of my pics in the ebooks. but I watched others struggle with it and I wanted to help. Yes there are pdfs available by EQ and there is the book.
